Baltimore [6/17/25]—EcoMap Technologies, an AI software company specializing in Ecosystem Intelligence, has launched EcoMap Ecosystem Relationship Manager (ERM) following an overwhelming response to its early waitlist. This new solution helps Entrepreneur Support Organizations (ESOs) and economic developers coordinate support across programs, manage relationships with entrepreneurs, and measure the outcomes of that work over time. Oregon was among the first to adopt the platform, using it to bring greater structure and visibility to how entrepreneurial support is delivered across statewide and regional networks.
By creating a shared source of truth, EcoMap ERM strengthens the connective tissue of an ecosystem. It improves coordination across organizations, enables impact measurement and reporting, and gives stakeholders the insight they need to collaborate more effectively. These capabilities are essential for transparency, attracting funding, and building long-term sustainability.
“We keep hearing from our partners that they need tools that are easier to use, quicker to implement, and built for how ecosystems actually work, not just another CRM,” said Sherrod Davis, co-founder and CEO of EcoMap. “We’ve built ERM to meet that bar. It’s part of a premium platform that pushes the edge of ecosystem tech. It uses AI designed to address the essential challenges economic developers and ecosystem builders face today, and can evolve with their needs over time.”
EcoMap ERM is the latest addition to the company’s Ecosystem Intelligence™ product suite. It addresses a persistent challenge in ecosystem building. While most regions have strong programs in place, they often lack purpose-built tools to understand how support is delivered. Without a connected system, it’s difficult to track who is being served, where progress stalls, or how organizations can coordinate more strategically.
In Oregon, the system is being implemented to help manage relationships and improve visibility into entrepreneur support activity.
“With EcoMap ERM, we’re excited to be putting the digital infrastructure in place to manage entrepreneur and ESO relationships across Oregon,” said Jordana Barclay, an Innovation Strategist with Business Oregon’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship team. “Instead of relying solely on anecdotes, we can see the data around what’s working, where gaps exist, and how to strengthen support at every stage.”
ERM builds on EcoMap’s core platform, which maps ecosystem resources and helps entrepreneurs discover relevant opportunities. While that work focuses on improving visibility for founders, ERM is designed for the people managing relationships, coordinating support, and shaping how ecosystems function.
ERM is now available to ecosystems that want to reduce duplicated effort, improve collaboration, and capture a more complete picture of how support is delivered.
