Baltimore [11/12/24] — EcoMap Technologies (EcoMap), a category-defining ecosystem intelligence AI software company, today announced the appointment of Danai Malianga-Torrence as Vice President of Customer Experience. 

In this role, Malianga-Torrence will lead customer service, implementation, customer advocacy, and customer support, supporting each node of the journey with the end goal of a streamlined and personal customer experience.

“The customer experience is by far one of the most important aspects of our business and how we scale successfully,” Sherrod Davis, co-founder and CEO of EcoMap, said. “Having an experienced leader like Danai in this role allows us to dig deeper into these relationships and get candid feedback from our customers so we continue creating great products that meet their needs, which ultimately helps us grow as a company.”

Malianga-Torrence has spent the past 15 years fully entrenched in customer success and tech, blending her background in communications, fundraising, relationship building, and strategic planning into a record of success across platforms. 

Prior to EcoMap, she was a consultant for RocketDocs, a RFP database and proposal management system, where she led a team of experts in RFP management to service clients and provide top-notch support. 

She also served as the Associate Vice President of Customer Success for Strategic & Enterprise Accounts for League, a platform designed for healthcare organizations to solve for the fragmented, disengaged experience for customers in healthcare. She also oversaw operational alignment and process improvement at VisibleThread, which provides RFP software for government contractors. 

A background in proposal writing and contract consulting informed the decision to pursue digital RFP solution providers. Early on in her career, Malianga-Torrence was responsible for writing proposals, managing teams of writers, and supporting contract renewals. At Rockwell Collins, she improved the contract renewal rate by 20% and won 20% more new business from her proposals.
